The aim of this workshop is to increase the participants' ability to bounce back from setbacks and disappointments so that they will be motivated to continue to work toward their aspirations Learning Objectives: By the end of the workshop participants will be able to: - Determine what coping strategies they are currently using - Describe at least three "problem-focused" coping strategies - Describe at least three "emotion-focused" coping strategies - Demonstrate in a group exercise how to use a variety coping strategies when faced with "knocks" Method: Interactive lecture with individual exercises and group exercises.
